Hogwarts: A History

20 years after the defeat of Voldemort at the Battle of Hogwarts, the Dark Lord has risen again. No one has been able to find a logical reason for his return, as it was believed his defeat at Harry Potter's hands would be the end of his reign of terror. Life had been peaceful, and no one had any reason to fear anyone again.

The return of Voldemort has caused the death of many witches and wizards, and Hogwarts had been closed almost immediately. This was not a result of his return, but as a result of his take over of the Ministry of Magic. Voldemort ordered all Magical Education Institutions to be shut down, and banned anyone from teaching magic under the penalty of death. It was obvious he feared another adversary.

During the Battle of the Ministry, three individuals stood out over the rest in defense of the Ministry. The three were Syn Kimaki, Ericus Black, and Harry Potter. Ericus and Syn, together, took on the Death Eaters as Harry, once again, ended up in a duel with Voldemort. The duel ended in a stalemate and Harry and Voldemort were both weakened. As the Dark Lord took over the Ministry and took control, Harry, along with his friends and family, fled into hiding, ushering in a new era of wizards to save the world.

Ericus and Syn escaped with their lives, and together reopened Hogwarts, at the behest of Harry, who believed the two of them could raise strong wizards. Now the school is reopened to any and all young wizard and witch who believes they can help save the wizarding world.
