The following are the rules here at Hogwarts Revolution:
Division A: Spamming and Consequences
The user must refrain from spamming. At Hogwarts Revolution, spamming is defined as:
Definition 1: Posting two or more messages in one topic before someone replies. (Note: You may bump the topic after 10 hours if no one has replied within that period).
Definition 2: One Word Replies. Is it really that hard to post a sentence?
Consequences:
1st time: 10% warning increase
2nd time: 20% warning increase
3rd time: 30% warning increase
4th time: Banned for 1 week
Division B: Misleading Titles
The user must never make a topic title not have to do anything with the post. If you make a topic about dogs, don't name the topic grass. Simple Rule.
Consequences:
1st time: 10% warning increase
2nd time: 10% warning increase
3rd time: 10% warning increase
4th time: 20% warning increase
5th time: 20% warning increase
6th time: Banned for a week
Division C: Copyright and Citing Sources
Due to copyright issues, if you find an article or a link you want to share, you can only post a sentence of that article and link to where you found it.
Consequences:
1st time: 10% warning increase
2nd time: 20% warning increase
3rd time: 30% warning increase
4th time: Banned for 1 week
Division D:
1. Personal banners and signature areas (in the event of text) are limited to a size of width 500 and height 250.
2.Avatars may not exceed 100x100 pixels.**
Consequences:
Asked to resize. If you fail to do so, we will erase everything in your signature without warning.
Division E: Polls
All Polls must have at least 2 choices.
Consequences:
Poll will be deleted or moved.
Division F: Attitude toward other Members*
Posts that belittle other members will not be tolerated. If you cannot be civil when replying, please do not reply. This is a friendly community. Please do not try to convert anyone to your way of thinking whether it be your internet browser/religion preference/or any other kind of preference or choice. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and should not be made to change theirs because you don't agree with it. If someone does ask for help with anything relating to 'their opinion', then either help them in a friendly way or ignore the thread/post.
