"This should be good." Tristan Castus said as he sat down in front of one of the bookshelves, with a book about spells and a book about potions in front of him. He was going to read about the spells first, because obviously it seemed more interesting. It was never too early to start learning. Tristan felt that way, especially since school had just started and now he was tryign to get familiar with his classes subject matter. He knew a few spells already. Not complicated ones, though, because they seemed like the kidns of things a professor would teach a first year. It probably helps that Tristan took the initiative to learn them, since most people probably wouldn't take that much time out of their day.
He hadn't really run into any other Ravenclaws since sorting happened, and that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Some of them may not have been as interested as Tristan was. Who knows, maybe they were hidden in some corner of this library surrounded by a mountain of books. It doesn't really matter that much. That was a bit of a stereotype. One thing Tristan had noticed during sorting was that quite a number of the girls were pretty good looking. That could make time here at Hogwarts very fun. Hopefully something will happen in that area of Tristan's life.
However, now he sat alone in the library reading a book, glad he was learning, but hoping somebody would come by and grab his attention for a conversation or something. He placed his elbow on the table and rested his head in his hand as he began to read. The first thing Tristan started was reading was about the Lumos charm and its uses. Quite and interesting chapter, as well as it was one of the few spells Tristan already knew. That was definately a plus.
